Data migration is different from DataSync. When migrating data, you move information from one system to another, replacing the old system. For example, switching from Pipedrive to HubSpot.
In contrast, DataSync aims to synchronise information between two systems more permanently. For instance, you might still use Salesforce for some tasks and HubSpot for others. Commonly, Salesforce remains the sales tool, while HubSpot, superior in marketing, is used for marketing tasks. -
A Custom Card UI is a card that can be placed in any record of any object in the system, such as a contact or a company. This Custom Card can be programmed to display and process information from any system with a public API.
For example, it can check stock levels of various products in the manufacturing system or track an order's delivery status with a logistics company. All this can be done from the contact or company record, depending on what suits each case best. -
You don't need to copy all the information from your other systems to HubSpot to view it. For example, with Custom UI Cards, you can bring that information in and display it right away. This allows you to access it in the correct place without opening a new tab or system window.
Sometimes, this is the best solution as it helps maintain data integrity and security. Of course, it depends on the requirements of each company and each situation. -
